The CDC Director was *Finally* Confronted on Shady Covid Deaths Reporting — Her Response is Just Amazing

"Do you know, how many of the 836,000 deaths in the U.S. linked to COVID are from COVID or how many are with COVID, but they had other comorbidities?"

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky is on the hot seat. The signs are subtle, but unmistakable, for myriad reasons we will get into below.

Walensky, who is really more of a Covid policy spox, has been getting hammered in the mainstream press for being a poor messenger for the Biden administration’s authoritarian, unlawful and futile Covid policies.

Chuck Todd seemed to be issuing her a warning on Sunday with a monologue on Biden’s Covid policy failures.

"The CDC has offered confusing & sometimes contradictory advice, the Supreme Court seems skeptical about the best tool in Biden’s toolbox, vaccine mandates, and stay-at-home guidelines & school closures [are]... a recurring nightmare." Mainstream media are turning on the CDC.🔻

"As we’ve said before, as Covid goes, so goes Joe Biden’s presidency," Chuck Todd said. "Right now, Covid is a major health and political problem."

"A combination of new variants like delta and omicron and a stubborn vaccine refusal among millions has led to an all-time high in cases," Todd claimed, falsely implying that vaccines significantly slow the spread of Covid-19.

"The seven day average has blown past previous records," he continued. "That doesn’t begin to account for people who don’t report results of at-home tests or asymptomatic."

Again, this is wrong. Millions of asymptomatic cases are being added to the numbers in regional testing crazes, such as in the northeast.

"Hospitalizations are peaking as well," Todd added without explaining that between 40%-70% of the hospitalization numbers are "incidental cases."

"But the death rate so far has ticked up much more slowly in part to a less severe illness caused by omicron," he went on. "The public is in a different place than it was a year ago, and the Biden administration is desperately trying to catch up."

"The CDC has offered confusing and sometimes contradictory advice, the Supreme Court seems skeptical about the best tool in Biden’s toolbox, the vaccine mandates, and stay-at-home guidelines and school closures have given us a feeling of a recurring nightmare."

"All of it adds up to a big political problem for the president, who pledged to restore confidence in the government's ability to competently handle this crisis," he concluded.

NBC's messaging is subtle, but unmistakable: The mainstream media are ratcheting up the effort to find a new scapegoat for the vaccines' failure to stop the spread. That’s because the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” lie has been debunked.

The CDC is widely believed to be the sacrificial lamb for the Biden administration's excuses for its Covid policy failures.

The legacy media, such as the New York Times and the Washington Post, as well as failed cable news networks like CNN, are putting out the vibe that CDC Walensky could be sacrificed to appease the mob.

Washington blame game is clearly accelerating. Also, major mistakes "At the same time, between Walensky circumventing some of the CDC's rigorous vetting processes for new guidelines and the public criticism, morale at the public health agency is sinking"

NEW: The CDC director has made sound decisions, experts say, but has repeatedly stumbled in explaining them. Biden’s hands-off approach may be partly to blame. The public is thoroughly confused. w/ ⁦@SharonLNYT⁩ ⁦@noahweiland⁩

Is it bad communication or bad science? For public health the two are so intertwined that I’m not sure you can just blame one.

I find it interesting that all the blame seems to be pinned on @CDCDirector. Were her male colleagues right to contradict her on national television, rather than voicing concerns behind the scenes and seeking a joint stance?

The signal has gone out that the CDC Director may be on the hook for a failure of messaging, rather than lying about the "science."

"The CDC Director takes orders from the White House and has no independent authority to make policy," Covid policy critic Jordan Schachtel noted.

The CDC Director takes orders from the White House and has no independent authority to make policy. She is not Fauci, who has enormous power. She was hired to be a spox for regime policies. She has zero influence. They are making Dr Rochelle the fall guy for their failed edicts.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky recently took heat for Covid isolation guidance that was clearly arbitrary and based on public policy, and not actual health policy. (This has been the case since the beginning, but the CDC got caught admitting it.)

"Dr. Rochelle P. Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, on Friday defended the agency’s new guidance shortening the isolation period for people infected with the coronavirus to five days from 10, saying it was 'grounded in science'," the New York Times reported.

"Speaking during a sometimes contentious telephone briefing with reporters, Dr. Walensky also responded to criticism that the messaging from the agency has been muddled and opaque, saying that she has appeared at 80 White House briefings since she took office, and has sometimes taken questions multiple times a week," the Times continued.

“I hear that you are interested in hearing from the C.D.C. independently,” Dr. Walensky said. She also added that she expected the briefing to be the first of many. But that's assuming she doesn't get the axe in a matter of months.

As part of her whirlwind media tour, Bret Baier finally asked her about one of the biggest mysteries of the Covid pandemic. It only took two years, but the CDC Director was finally confronted about shady Covid-related deaths reporting.

Her answer was revealing.
